![]() Don't think it was vibration as I walked away from the scope for most of the capture period, so vibrations would have been at a minimum. Morning gents, I managed to get some blurry AVIs of Venus and Mars last night with my SPC9000NC Webcam and Talx3 barlow, but am struggling a bit with Registax to get a decent image out. On the plus side, the tracking wasn't too shabby, and will be further refined now that I can reposition my tripod with some degree of accuracy. Can you recommend the best version and tutorial for Registax please, the user interface on 5.1 seems a bit of. Roll on the next dark night so I can try again. (any further suggestions on how to get Registax working gratefully received. Could it be the capture itself? what should I be saving the video as?) avi file had smaller number of frames (best 150 of 700) than the other ones I sucefully stacked (best 150 of 3000). I tried reducing and increasing number of alignpoints, smooth and blur filters but the problem persisted. PS I'm using SharpCap as the capture software.
